OUR

VISION

The true purpose of arts education is not necessarily to create more professional dancers or artists. It's to create more complete human beings who are critical thinkers, who have curious minds, who can lead productive lives.

“Life without playing music is inconceivable for me.” “I live my daydreams in music, I see my life in terms of music.”    -Albert Einstein

problem

Music programs are being seriously eradicated from public education

solution

Make music programs more affordable & accessible

DESIGN

Work directly with districts, principals, and PTA's

REWARD

More access for more students  to music education, more jobs for music teachers

““Without music, life would be a mistake”                                                            -Friedrich Nietzsche

Programming costs

Pillar 1

Work with districts, principals, PTA's, and school foundations to reduce the cost of the music program to meet goals, and work within budgets to accomplish set tasks. Offer semester and full year programs.

By hiring our certified teachers, the costs of a music program can be reduced by 66% as compared to the normal cost of a year round full time music teacher. There are no extra costs to the district for benefits, 401k, sick leave, or full time pay. Depending on the size of the school, our teachers can still hold classes 2 - 3 days per week, and the school will receive all the benefits of a music education, including community concerts for friends and family.

State Certified Curriculum

Pillar 2

Create a unique and proprietary curriculum that serves both the students and the state standards. Create numerous themes that are fun and engaging, diverse, but systematically structured year round into different blocks with specific goals.

Quality cannot be lost. Each week is planned out and executed according to our Maestro program guidelines, to be carried out by every teacher as assigned. Our scope and sequence chart is mapped out each week for each grade, and principals will have copies of the material so they are aware of our precise lesson plans each and every week. We create a program. We don't just play music.

Instrument Assistance

Pillar 3

We will help to provide instruments to schools with generous donations from the public. Through our community partnerships, grants program, and private donations, we will be able to provide instruments that are cheaper, and will meet the basic needs of our students.

If the schools would like to own the equipment, we can offer the instruments to them at whole sale reduced prices through our vendor partnerships. If not, Maestro will still be providing all the instruments to students in class to use.
